World Hepatitis Testing Week

Each year, LiverWELL recognises individuals and organisations who have made outstanding contributions to the lives of those who live with viral hepatitis and liver disease. We would like to congratulate our valued winners of the 2025 Recognition Awards.

Our 2025 Annual General Meeting was held on 21 October 2025, and brought together community members and health sector leaders for an inspiring day of connection and reflection.

LiverWELL recently took part in the Mid-Autumn Festival hosted by the Vietnamese Museum Australia, setting up an interactive stall that drew in families and community members throughout the day.

LiverWELL recently held a community education session tailored for Hindi and Punjabi-speaking communities, aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of hepatitis B. The session focused on prevention, testing, treatment, and the support services available in Victoria.

LiverWELL recently partnered with the SMRC Cambodian Group to run a Community Hackathon focused on liver health, with a special emphasis on hepatitis B.

Reflecting on the past year, one thing stands out: when we come together, we create real, lasting change. That’s why we made this years theme Our Collective Impact; highlighting the strength and progress made through working side by side.

In August and September, LiverWELL Health Promotion Officers Alain and Maddie delivered 12 hepatitis B workshops at Box Hill Institute (Elgar Campus) with over 265 Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) students.

Hepatitis Australia and ASHM are urging all Australians to prioritise hepatitis B vaccinations to protect children’s long-term health.
